All Proceeds Donated to PGA HOPE – Helping Our Patriots Everywhere

GOLFTEC is proud to announce that we raised $111,000 through our annual DRIVE FOR HOPE campaign, supporting PGA REACH, PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) and the military. The Drive For HOPE charity campaign combined generous public donations and PGA HOPE apparel sales, along with GOLFTEC’s donation of $1 for every lesson given from October 11 through Veteran’s Day, November 11.

PGA HOPE was designed to introduce golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to enhance their physical, mental, social and emotional well-being. PGA REACH, PGA HOPE and GOLFTEC’s Drive For HOPE aspire to create a physically and emotionally healthier Veteran community through a six- to eight-week curriculum led by PGA Professionals trained in adaptive golf and military cultural competency.

“We are proud to once again donate to PGA HOPE through our Drive For HOPE campaign, as our Veterans mean so much to this country. Thank you to all of our Students, Coaches and supporters who donated, took lessons and bought PGA HOPE apparel. We are proud that so many helped contribute to this campaign in support of our military and Veterans.”

Joe Assell, GOLFTEC Co-founder and ceo

GOLFTEC gave over 100,000 lessons nationwide during the Drive For HOPE, as many GOLFTEC Students made it their mission to take lessons and give back during the month-long campaign. Drive For HOPE is part of GOLFTEC Cares, a charitable initiative with a mission to unite communities through golf and drive the game towards greater accessibility, diversity, and long-lasting charitable impact. With an annual charitable giving of over $2 million, GOLFTEC is aiming for an even greater impact through 2022 and beyond.
